Frequently Asked Questions
About Minding a Lovely Dog in Your Home
Yes, as long as your dog is well socialised and vaccinated or titre-tested.
We would send you dogs that are compatible with your dog so that both dogs have a great time. It is important for your dog and the visiting dog to meet beforehand to be sure they get along.
Yes, no problem at all but you must let us know if another dog will be there when we book a dog with you as we would need to be sure the client is happy with the arrangement and that the dogs are compatible. If you have already committed to minding a dog for a “Don’t Fret Pet!” client you would need to honour that commitment and it would not be fair to the client to decide to mind another dog after they have made their booking.
Many of our furclients now live in apartments so, if you live in an apartment, you can mind dogs. However, it would be important to be at home for a fair amount of the day so that you can take the visiting dog out for toileting.
If you do have a yard, security is very, very important so you will need to have good fences with no gaps and secure gates.
When you register with us you will see the payment amounts in the terms and conditions. We don't post the amounts here as the amount varies depending on where you live. We pay a small daily allowance and, as we are not there to supervise, only take on absolute dog lovers so that we can be sure that they are minding dogs for the right reason.
